  1. Some goods are up 30%. A lot of vendors have closed up shop. Temu is not cheap to begin with when compared to Amazon. The main obstacle is US also required seller to provide tax ID of the buyers. That is a no go. For me the problem is some of the stuff you can't get from US like quality tea.

  2.  @Bubba-z4s  Nope. It is the regulation. They now have to go through a custom broker. If the customer does not paid the broker will have to. There is also a requirement seller have to provide buyer's tax ID. On top of that there is NO competition for some products. The question is can Amazon get an exemption or they will be hit as well

  3. Have you bought from Temu? Their stuff ain't cheap. Maybe for clothing they are. I tried to buy a solder pot. It is cheaper locally. But I did bought somer ceramic tweezer and they are quite good. I think there is quality stuff there you just need to find it. My opinion is they are a Chinese version of Amazon. I got some junks from Amazon too, And yes they were made in China

  7. Yup but they misunderstood the rule. Higher prices higher tariff. Many had pulled stuff off. I think they will set up a tax system like state tax to cover this. The problem is Trump is so incompetent there is no clear rule.
