@pipiqiqi4010 I started reading Taiwan Newspaper and opinion. They think the cost is too high to rely on US. The strategy should by dialog and negotiation with China. Trump is basically pushing Taiwan to China.

@blipblop92 No US did not pay for it The fab is $40B US paid 6,6B. In the mean time Blinken just announced some of the CHIP act will fund semiconductor factory in Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama. Subsidy for foreign country job.

@AZ-zk6fr Do you read Taiwanese paper? DPP is saying the relationship between US and Taiwan are strong and it is not going to happen. The opposition is saying US is not reliable and they have to rely on themself and ask for Dialog with China.

@joshbhoy Chip ban actually hurt US more. Sales dropped 30%. Chip stock lost 500B in value. And sikicon valley is laying off people. In the mean time Chinese chip sales internal risd by 30%. China bought 70% of the chips. Not selling to the biggest customer? Idiotic

@AZ-zk6fr Actually DPP said US and Taiwan relationship is strong. Trump will not actually ask for money and this is just election talk. You are aware Taiwan has a shortage of soldier. Former Singapore PM said Taiwan does not have the will to fight.
