  10.  @mightylaidlow1  I said US companies no longer INVEST in R&D. I used to participate in standard commitee. US actually invented the Internet. It used to be be 90% Americans. Now you rarely see one. They are mostly Chinese now. Sure Americans still do some D but the R is done by Chinese. Ever wonder how Huawei owns 1/3 of 5G patents and have working 6G now?

TSMC is now also claiming the cost is too high. They want Biden to give incentive to US customers to buy US made chips. As part of the CHIP acts is they cannot do business with China. Intel CEO said with out the Chinese market they do not need to build a fab. Bye bye CHIP act and the US dream of chip making.
