Ukraine was bombing the east Russian speaking Donbas. Zelensky agreed to stop bombing and allow Donbas to be autonomous. Zelensky violated the agreement and continued to bomb Donbas. It is really very simple. Just go back to the Minsk agreement that Zelensky and EU already agreed on.
