Stef. There is a cultural difference here. The so called democracy is not the same democracy in the US. North Korea's official name is Democratic Republic of People of korea. That does make them democratic, does it? Chinese people viewed the HK rioters are separatist. Another problem is the image he used is Hong Kong Independence (Morey might not know it). So they see Morey as a instigator of separatism same as Rubio. It is a known fact that NED funded by the State department funded the 2014 occupy Hong Kong. It is quite reasonable for them to suspect NED is doing it again particularly with Rubio's baseless accusation in congress. If you are Chinese (not China), how do you see the NBA now? part of NED?

@doublehoff666 There is a difference between Hong Kong and China. It is called one country two systems. You are right about China and wrong about HK. HK has all the freedom you can possibly have. The sentence for carrying a weapon and throwing rock at police is.... 100 hrs of community service. That is why this is a very complex story. The freedom they are fighting for is not the same freedom you think it is. Kerr has the right position, he wanted to know more before he comments. There are a lot of clips on youtube then you decide.
