To raise US car price.

US spent $1T to build a plane that does not work. Paid 80K for a trash can. You want US in charge. Seriously?

@tm73827 Well raising tariff on 0.4% of the steel will definitely raise the price across the board. And that is definitely not for the well being of the country. We are better off just to ban Chinese Steel totally. Just decouple and no more drama.

GM sells more car in China than US and China sell 0 cars in US. Biden is incompetent.
2
@SavanaT So does US. See inflation reduction act. When you put tariff on 0.4% of the steel import. What do you expect the domestic steel price to be? And how is IP theft related to steel production?
2
Chinese EV is $15K in China. BYD is building a factory in Mexico. Tariff on Mexican cars?
2
What is the CHIPS act? Not a subsidy?

So you want to make your product more expensive

You can keep her

Is there IP on steel? Really? Wait there's steel worker union

The government is too old. If this administartion is in the 80, we would still be paying $2000 for a XT

It is unfair for me to pay more

@leoxiao2751 Well they are building cars in Mexico. Tariff on Mexico too or learn to build cars efficiently. BTW, this happens in the 80s, Japnese were beating US in cars.
