  2.  @addertooth1  You needs to get your facts correct first. Tariff was higher during Biden than Trump, Biden kept all of Trump's tariff and ADD on. And tariff based inflation takes time to propagate through the system. An increase in steel price will only affect the product that is to be in production but not product already in production. Go check the steel price after Trump tariff. It was up 30%. Is that not inflation? Or US does not use steel, is your answer?

On June 14, 2024, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) allowed an exemption for e-bikes to expire under Section 301 tariffs. This meant that e-bikes—along with certain components, including motors, batteries, and frames—became subject to a 25% tariff when imported from certain countries, particularly China.
