Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you. You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. but remember your prayer doesn’t save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved. After people get saved they get baptized in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. It is for believers only and has nothing to do with your salvation.

@lancerivora9325 Lance, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are equal. They are divine in nature, but play different roles. When the Son of God became a man, He remained fully God, but He also took on a true human nature. He kept all the attributes of divinity yet, as man, He voluntarily restricted their use. An egg has three parts, the shell, the white and the yolk, three parts, but one egg. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

@lancerivora9325 Lance, please read the book of Romans, it is a great book on Salvation. You are saved by trust or faith in Jesus sacrifice on the cross for you. His blood cleanses you of your sins. Verily verily, I say unto you , he that heareth my word and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation , but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abide the on Him. John 3:36. Jesus saith unto him , I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me John 14:6. By the way, all the passages I copied ARE in the Bible, that’s why I included the book, chapter and verse, just so people could look them up in the Bible. For your information , I indeed, DO read my Bible, don’t make assumptions about people when you don’t even know them.

@Danny451 Hey Danny, God gives us the whole truth about Biblical characters, their sins, their failures, their victories and good deeds, and we learn from their example, what to do and what not to do. Whatever Lot’s thought process was, it was wrong and of course, God didn’t approve of it. We have sinful people now, just the same as in Biblical times.

When the Son of God became man, He remained fully God, but He also took on a true human nature. He kept all the attributes of divinity yet, as man, He voluntarily restricted their use. He was actively humbling Himself. It was part of His submission to the Father. Some things He chose to “give up the rights “ to be privy to during His earthly ministry.

@Danny451 Danny, after the flood God commanded humanity to increase in number and fill the earth. They decided to do the opposite. They decided to build a great city and all congregate there. They built a Ziggurat-style tower, as a symbol of their power, allowing paganism to invade their faith in God. They tried to rebel against God’s sovereign authority and embraced their own self sufficiency. They didn’t want God to rule over them. They were rebelling against God. There will always be sin because of the fall, but I think, things got so bad in The time of Noah and Lot that God destroyed the people. I think that we have gone too far into sin today and with all the occurrences happening God is going to destroy the earth again. There are so many things being fulfilled that were predicted in Revelations. We are nearing or in the very beginning of tribulations. The earth will be destroyed and God will start over again. I don’t see this as God’s failure. We have free will to sin or do good, but once we go too far, in sin , He destroys the earth and starts over again.
