God’s perfect love is for me:
There is only one God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says that we are all sinners

For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (the word “death” in this verse is eternal separation from God, in hell.)

Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he

If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior.
Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you.
You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. but remember your prayer doesn’t save you.
Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you.
The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.
After people get saved they get baptized in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. It is for believers only and has nothing to do with your salvation.

@curtis1344 Hi Curtis, no need to apologize, people have said a lot worse to me. I do appreciate it, though. That was very sweet of you. The crusades were responsible for senseless killing, but I don’t consider that religion(Catholic) Christian. True Bible believers never caused any killing. Eve is responsible for letting sin into the world. The Garden of Eden was perfect until sin ruined it. We are living in a sinful world and bad things happen because of it. God never intended for it to be that way. Sometimes we can get a false view of God and that can change our opinion of Him. If you read the book of Romans, it shows how much God loves you and explains salvation. Jesus shed His blood for you because He loves you. Accepting that automatically causes you to love and adore Him. It is a natural reaction . He is God, He didn’t have to do that, but that was the only way He could accept us, since He is a sinless God and sin can’t enter heaven and He knew , we could never be sinless, so He took on all of our sins and payed the debt, to enjoy our company with Him in heaven. Hell was made for the devil who left heaven. I think, if we reject Jesus we are rebellious, like the devil and the other fallen angels. If we were allowed to enter heaven we would do the same thing. There is an article on newsweek.com Is archaeology proving the Bible? You might find that interesting. I post on all kinds of sites because some people have never read the Bible and won’t know how much God loves them unless they read my comments. Sometimes we find God when we aren’t looking for Him, or maybe I should say, God finds us. Thanks again, for your reply. That was very special to me and made my day.

@curtis1344 Hi again, your parents did such a wonderful job in raising you. They should be proud. Most people never apologize for anything. It’s very refreshing to hear from someone like you. I was raised Catholic and became disenchanted with that religion. I decided to follow the Bible and not religion. I had never read the Bible before, so I attended a church that only taught from the Bible. It happened to be Baptist. Although I don’t consider myself Baptist, I am a Bible believing Christian. I would just pray and read the Bible for yourself. Romans is a good book on salvation. Right before I got saved my attitude was (and still is) If it’s in the Bible, I will do it, but if it is from some church and not in the Bible I ignore it. Let God guide you and not man. I know your frustration with so many different denominations interpreting the Bible differently, I’ve had that problem, as do many people . It’s best to let God lead you through His Word. The Bereans did that. These were more noble than those in Thessalonia, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11. This verse is about the Trinity: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 These verses show Jesus is God: “Behold the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son and they shall call His name Immanuel “, which translated means, “God with us “ Matthew 1:23 “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:and this is that spirit of antichrist whereof ye have heard it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1John 4:3.
