  7.  @TheAstralftw  it's not a matter of NATO tactics. It's a matter of capability. You can't use the tactics you've been learned for without having to use the capabilities attached to them. Downplay Desert Storm all you like, but that was a masterpiece of military coordination, logistics and combined arms implementation. That IS the best example of modern war. Not what Russia is presenting as "tactics" All these defensive measures taken can be overcome with the right capability. It's not impossible. As for the capabilites of France, Britain and Germany, they are not emphasizing large scale capability, but rather specialized capability. Russia is in a war economy right now, so obviously they are producing more than nations who are not. That doesn't mean the west cannot overtake them if they to switch to a war economy

At least nominally, Iraq had 650,000 troops opposing the coalition, 850,000 reservists, 5,500 tanks, 3,000 artillery pieces, 700 combat aircraft and helicopters; it held 53 divisions, 20 special-forces brigades, and a large very capable air defense. Motivation, discipline and training were poor, but at least nominally, they had alot more to work with than Ukraine does even with all the international support I'm not trying to prove anything. But its laughable that these clowns are trying to make the case that Russa is a model example of how modern warfare should be fought when they can't even coordinate combined arms and the strategic level. How are they a model for anybody? Because now they have "experience"? 🤣🤣. Experience of what? Exactly? Dying in frontal assaults? Without air, reconnaissance or artillery support? Please... It's all a massive cope. A cope to cover up the reality of Russia as a weak second rate military power. If it wasn't for their nuclear arsenal, they would be nothing

They are not judjed by the same norms as you or i with some obvious exceptions. There is a code of conduct that has to be adhered to whether he likes it or not. I don't know his rank at the time, but it may have been the case it was not his place to say sth like that. God knows the context in which he said it, which btw he conveniently left out just so that he could play the victim in his narrative Now he bears a grudge against an organization that helped him grow in his career and as a person. All because of his lack of accountability

They dont pose as a global superpower. Russia does, which is why it means alot more when Russia fails. They cant be treated equal at all Secondly. I'm not playing with words. At least for this year But don't be disheartened. War is like that. There are ups and downs. The war is far from over and Ukraine is still fighting on home turf. They can definitely inflict a desicive defeat on the Russians in the right conditions

Long-term, Germany will be able to ensure energy security As for reforming increasing military spending that was long overdue if Germany has to cut social services to do that then so be it not only are you guys living under the nuclear umbrella of the US. We the taxpayers are also paying for your security as well. Time to carry your weight
