@MyGamerFUZE the problems with being interconnected with Russia are just short-term though. Germany has already found new sources of natural gas and oil from Norway and the US. Long-term, Germany will be able to ensure energy security As for reforming increasing military spending that was long overdue if Germany has to cut social services to do that then so be it not only are you guys living under the nuclear umbrella of the US. We the taxpayers are also paying for your security as well. Time to carry your weight

@Commons3ns what are you talking about? a nation constitutes territory, so of course Ukraine is gonna fight for its territory back. Secondly, Ukraine doesn't have to reconquer all of its territory. They just need to show Russia that they can't win by force of arms long term

They are a threat. These are facts. And in this reality that we live in, which nuclear umbrella are you going to rely on? France? the UK? both of whom only have a fraction of the nukes Russia has? again it doesn't matter if you think you need us. The fact is you need us in the worst-case scenario

What they said was in principle they were close to an agreement. What they didn't tell you was Russia made preconditions to that agreement. They made preconditions as if Ukraine was already a defeated nation and had the right to dictate terms to Ukraine.
