@petteriusima4106 The fact is after the fall of the USSR, the world was at peace with a few exceptions. There were certainly no wars between nation-states over borders This isn't about good and evil. It's about Russia starting an unjust war. A bad habit of autocracies

It was a last resort This is about Russia not the US or NATO. Many NATO countries are outright allies of the US outside of NATO. It's not uncommon for them to follow their lead. Even in the example in 2008, not all of them followed US policy. So your point and Cohen's point is mute. Where and when has NATO said its mission is regime change? How is the collective alliance aggressive or expansionist?

@scatton61 I did it just to illustrate that even a commoner like me can see multiple flaws in his ideology 😉 Slavery isn't the same everywhere. The type of chattel slavery practiced in the west isn't the same as what was practiced in Africa or the Arab world. A common tactic conservatives like himself is to talk about slavery in this way as a way to downplay slavery in the west. Now we are hearing conservatives parrot this same nonsense
