@davelane9366 I never said Ukraine was winning. You're right, it's still in the balance If Trump or any other Republican wins, they will be hard pressed to make Ukraine make peace. First, because they will be under pressure politically and from Europe. Second, Ukraine isn't a satellite state. They can refuse. It will badly affect their ability to wage war, but they can refuse and still get access to artillery shells another way Republicans making Ukraine make peace is a dream of the pro Russian shills like the two Alex's. Its the only remote chance Russia gets what they want. They know Russia cant win on the battlefield, so they try to win with political interference and in the information space

@louise_rose and why should Russia have all the leverage against Ukraine to do what they want in Ukraine? Why is it in European interest to do what Russia wants? Is Ukraine a province of Russia? What is Russia's Responsibility here? You keep propagating these narritives that the EU is to blame whilst absolving Russia from blame. They are literally patry to the conflict. So how is there no blame for Russia? Even in WWII histography, there is an acknowledgement that the western powers treatment of Germany after WWI was an indirect cause. They took part of the blame.
