  1. when you consider that (at least in town) the ice engine in a hybrid only runs 200k for 300k actual miles driven and it isnt running when the car is stopped at lights and you get twice the mpg of a non hybrid, the choice is pretty simple. even if it doesnt last quite as long as a normal ice car, ill take my 20k saved in gas and get another for (basically) free
