  1. TikTok is different from any US company in that it doesn't have a close relationship with its government, it IS its government. The entire Chinese private sector is not like the rest of the world's private sector. Even their civilian technology/companies have military uses. But China isn't technically doing anything illegal; they only created a website/app that people want to voluntarily use. Blame human stupidity for so many actually flocking to that dogshit in droves.
