  1. Looks kinda like corporate colors, and vaguely Jewish since Israel's flag is pretty blue themed. What on earth is "Islamist" (Muslim) about it? I guess it kinda stands out now compared to other state flags. The former Minnesota flag, it's hard to even make anything out. Just showing a Native American on a horse on some white man's farm land, however, I don't think is particularly offensive unless the implication is that the Native American is attacking the farm or trying to ruin his crops with hoof prints or something. Maybe these conservative nutjobs are just triggered that it is predominantly Democrat blue without any accompanying Republican red. If they want more red, they can go over to China where their brand of authoritarianism is more celebrated. If you don't love it, leave it!

  2. If this star has any similarity to a religious symbol, it would be the Jewish one, but conservatives hate Jews and Muslims alike. Maybe if it looks vaguely Buddhist they wouldn't have a problem with it? Like, say, a swastika?
