  1. Republicans' solutions often don't stop at just not doing anything about the problem, but to stop anyone in government and government as a whole to do anything about the problem. They like keeping these problems around as something to whine about, and yet they are personally responsible for the problem remaining a problem, if not actively making it a worse problem
