In other words, morality is not only good, but practical to society. When you attack others, you GET attacked. So don't attack others. Especially if your attack would be so gruesome that the tables turn for who has the moral high ground. If a member of your family gets murdered, that does not get you permission to murder ten of the murderer's family members. All the cycle of revenge/retaliation does is spiral a society into chaos, from within and without. Why do this to yourselves, Israel? You were supposed to keep Jews safe, and the results speak for themselves: you have failed. Taking Palestinians down with you does not change that you have failed in your own mission.
