  2. I get the feeling this kind of voter suppression prevents Republican voters from voting too. This is broad suppression for everyone. Republicans are already fewer in number among the population, so kinda funny that their tactics might just be self-defeating and unsustainable. Plus, it just makes them look like assholes passing this law, so that ought to encourage backlash votes. I mean, locking the polls at 5 PM? Come on, man. That's gotta affect Republicans too.
