  3. He already got impeached by the House, the Senate would just be the ones to decide if he gets convicted on the charges. We could have had that during his remaining days too, but Mitch McConnell is the one who wanted to have it after. Which implies that it, in fact, can be done after... If Republicans are mad that it's after instead of during, they have Mitch to get mad at!
