Every time they are given an opportunity to back down from something obviously absurd, they hit the gas pedal even harder... It's unbelievable. They can't even hit the easiest softball question of "Is Marjorie kinda fucking crazy?" Short answer: "Yeah." Long answer: "Definitely, yeah." Why do they do this to themselves? It would be so easy to disavow this insanity, but when they don't, they fully own it.

Yes, she was elected. No one disputes that. The question is, was it a LOON who was elected? Was someone who was unfit for office elected? Because it is possible the people made a mistake. But it's not a mistake until you regret it as a mistake... And Republicans still refuse to acknowledge anything wrong here. They are given the opportunity to hit the brakes and disavow, but they never do. It's unbelievable.
