They don't care about facts, and they don't care about feelings either, since they are just fine with trampling over people's feelings so long as they are not their own

  5. Happy for you that you got to see gay victories in your lifetime. This sort of social progress is what America should be all about, but you can't have progress without an unnecessarily stubborn bad guy to triumph over, eh? That's what makes for the underdog story.
