  1. To be fair, I've heard firing squads would be more humane since electric chair and lethal injections because of what often goes wrong there. Some inmates have requested firing squad executions before, only to be refused because society thinks it's icky having to face the grim reality of being legally ordered to kill someone. Either way, it's giving the state the authority to kill people they feel like killing, which I kinda object to just on the basis of that always-there percentage of inmates who are innocent and wrongfully convicted.
