When you guys say "common sense", you really mean "I have these positions without having to think too deeply about them, and I feel my lack of thinking about them makes those ideas magically better somehow; not thinking about why I hold my views is good because I think I am automatically right because the more popular a prejudice is the truer and more righteous it becomes and applying too much scrutiny is unpatriotic communism"

@Larry_Hegs LOL keep telling yourself that. The people who wanted to secede from a country are patriotic to the country they are seceding from? That would be like if I renounced my American citizenship because I am just SO patriotic to America. And the North was telling the South not to have slaves. They fought to the death so that they could keep enslaving people because that was just comfier for their economic setup. Maybe them lazy southerners should've tried working for a living, eh? Would've avoided thousands of needless deaths if they just pulled themselves up by their bootstraps. And you can't bring black people into the country and then complain afterward that there are black people in the country. If you didn't want them around, you shouldn't have sailed them over. And as for the majority of the slave owners being in the north, I've never heard of that, but either way: if the south didn't even have that many slave owners, you would think it would be easier for them to give the slaves up voluntarily since they aren't as dependent on them. But no, they wanted them the most. If the north had more slave owners and was the side willing to go through the change of giving up the slaves, that really speaks to the content of their character favorably, and the south very much unfavorably for being so needlessly staunch about slavery they could more easily do without. Fact of the matter is, the south wanted to keep slavery, and the north didn't. Fucking idiot.

He IS a conservative though. This should not be surprising, or hard to learn. Learn to Google. Also, newsflash: logical deduction suggests that if you disagree with a lot of left wing attitudes, it is probably because you have right wing attitudes
