Do what your constituents voted for you to do. The Republicans are not your constituents. They oppose everything you are for, they don't want any of this stuff, so ignore them and let them screw themselves while we finally have the opportunity to get what we want which benefits them too anyway. Negotiating with them will only ruin the bill, and they will end up not voting for it anyway, and you will never get a thank you. Catering to Republicans, like getting involved in Afghanistan, is the death of empires.
