All roads all traffic were halted and every one observed silence for them. The whole country came to a stand still. But American's never observed any silence for 12 December parliament attacks on Delhi or for 2008 Mumbai attacks. They never did it for Beslan school shootings in Russia by Chechens rebels either. Not a minute silence for the Russians. Because America' opponents don't deserve any sympathy because America' enemy don't deserve better. I remember Elena Dementieva and Svetlana kuznetsova were in the finals of US open that year. They asked the American audience to stand up for the victims, for a minute silence, which Americans did begrudgingly. Political commentators Saagar Enjeti and Marshall Kosloff recently said that Putin reached out to USA after 9/11 because of his own domestic problems because of his own self interest. Just ask yourself what will the reaction of America if there was a Grooming Gangs scandal in America.
