In the Last stages of the British Empire, British intellectual Bertrand Russell said he welcomed lesser of two evils American hegemony in favour of Soviet hegemony which was his way of saying American Empire over Soviet Empire. It's almost poetic that 40 years after the Soviet union collapsed in 1990s, The Last remaining Empire United States is also collapsing and by 2030-33, the Chinese Empire will take over.
