The same thing is with the Megan Markle Royal Family Saga, he used it to advance his career, and has twisted his personal issues with Meghan Markle into some kind of "free speech martyrdom" and "attack on the Free press" in Britain by Meghan and Harry. Same Schtick, he tried to do with Ewan McGregor who didn't take the bait. But he got the Iraq War Right, to his Credit. People are pretending to not know what Piers Morgan does? This is what he does. He inserts himself in situation which he knows nothing about. Invites people who know nothing about it and plays provocation game. Then tries to be a white knight about it and declare that he was on the side of Right on this issue. Mark my words, After the end of this conflict he'll say he provided platform to both side. But his ultimate goal is always to milk the situation for his ratings and tabloid circulation and he has been successful in that goal.
