The American Empire has always had a perception problem because it's a country that was born out of a Genocide and dropped two nuclear bombs to become a super power and the civilizational history that it claims lies in a different continent in Europe. In the Last stages of the British Empire, British intellectual Bertrand Russell said he welcomed "Lesser of two Evils" American hegemony in favour of Soviet hegemony which was his way of saying American Empire over Soviet Empire. It's almost poetic that 40 years after the Soviet union collapsed in 1990s, The Last remaining Empire United States is also collapsing and by 2030-33, the Chinese Empire will take over. Chinese are creating thier own version of Monroe doctrine which will eventually lead to the collapse of American Empire.
