  1. I think Brazil is going to have a relationship with the United States much like the Anglo Portugese alliance.(It might even become like a vassal state). Lula or Bolsanaro will not matter in the long term, the geopolitical realities will shape this relationship. I don't think China is going to have significant influence over them but they are in BRICS. So, they will have a relationship with China nonetheless. American Empire will have a relationship with the Brazil just like the way Portugal was always somewhat of an ally of the British Empire. The British Empire had never had great relationship with the Spanish, French, German, Italian or the Russians. The only ones they used to have some good relationship is with Portugal and Dutch. Other wise they generally hate continental Europe. America has completely morphed into a modern day version of the British Empire. The rest of the south American countries will continue to have bad relationships with United States and despise America because of it's constance interference in their domestic politics.

It's an impulse they can't resist, and what's different is that now they don't pretend to deny, and every one knows they interfered in American elections too.
