  1. There is a side of America that every one sees but continues to ignore, is this obsession with being number 1 (whatever that means). Have you ever asked what happens if someday, because of some situations they are not number 1? What happens if they are not number 1? They will burn the world to the ground if they are not number 1. They are that jingoistic. America is the only country that has used nuclear weapons and chemical weapons (and who knows might be even biological weapons). They used nukes on Japan which is racially, religiously and linguistically a different country to America. They would have never used nukes on Italy and Germany. Not to mention, there is only one country that came into being by a Genocide of the natives and then dropped two nukes to become the super power in the world. If you look at them since 2016 they are getting crazier and crazier.

  2. China is no more authoritarian than it was, during the Chairman Mao days or during Deng Xiaoping or Xi Jinping. In fact they are much closer to the kinds of countries, rulers, dictatorships and establishments America normally aligns itself with. The only problem that Americans have with China is that, Right now they are within hitting distance of dethroning America from its number 1 spot. America is acting like a TINPOT DICTATOR of the world that is butt hurt by the success of new kid on the block that is China. They wanted to separate China from the Soviet union because the combined force of those two would be a bit too much to handle for America. They didn't want to be close to China because they like China or have respect for Chinese. They came close to China because they hate the Soviet Union (Russia) more. It's not because they "thought" China will become some kind of democracy because of capitalism. Same reason, China was brought in the WTO as a way to lure them away from Russia. The same way, in the earlier days they courted Putin too, because they were beginning to be weary of Chinese ambitions. Converting China into a democracy is a silly story they tell the kids in "Georgetown and Columbia University" to Propagandise them (and call it education). America is in the business of hating others and loving itself. (No wonder Self Loving Donald Trump is the president of the United States) Making China a democracy, was neither the goal, nor was it ever going to happen and every one knew it. Neither did the Chinese ever had any willingness to become a democracy of any sorts. What America hates is that, China has committed the blasphemy of developing fast, and becoming the second largest economy in the world and that it became a natural contender to America and a direct threat to it's superpower status, that's the only mistake of China. In World War 2, Europe destroyed itself because of a direct clash between the European Empires and the rest of the world was living under the boots of colonialism while being robbed of their honour and wealth by their colonial masters and were subjugated completely, they also faced the effects of the war. America was the last man standing after world war 2 mainly because of their geography. America ran from the third base to fourth base and called themselves a winner of the WORLD SERIES. Since Deng Xiaoping, China has run from first base and now they have nearly caught up with America. The name of the game is Capitalism, who knew China was going to be so good at it.
