Some Indians have this weird colonial hangover to be liked by The West and The West have constantly chosen Pakistan over India.
1) Did they like India when (Mahatma) Gandhi was around? No.
(They called him half naked fakir)
2) Did they like India when Nehru was around? No.
(They chose Gen Ayub Khan on one side and Chairman Mao on the other side)
3) Did they like India when Indira Gandhi was around? No.
(We have heard the Richard Nixon tapes and Reagan preffered to work with Zia ul haq)
4) Did they like India when Manmohan Singh was around? No.
(The civil nuclear deal with US has gone nowhere, Manmohan Singh and Hardeep Singh Puri were against Syria and the Libya war)
5) Do they like India when Modi is around? No.
Pakistan is a lot more similar to USA than One would think.
Both Pakistan and USA are run by a Deep State.
The Pakistani Deep State is of Mullahs, Chaudhari Zamindars, Army and ISI.
And
America has Deep state that consists of military industrial complex and wall Street.(Micimatt)
America has a deep state just like Pakistan has a deep state, may be that's why the two get along so well. America can tell them what to do and they'll just do it.
There is a 75 year data on Pakistan, Go look back at that history you will notice the same pattern again and again.
Both Pakistan and USA are deeply religious countries and founded by Religious fundamentalist.
In America, you would need the Evangelist vote to win an election. All the Pakistani politicians lean into thier religion to get elected. (Imran Khan and Trump are both gaffe machines and also a bit similar)
You can say that India and Israel are religious countries too, but both India and Israel are more culturally religious and more non denomination in nature. Most Hindus are just *"Hindus who celebrate diwali"*.
Indians and Chinese indigenous religious groups that are entwined with cultural and civilizational history of each country. Which is where India and China have a lot more in common with each other.
And
Most Jews are just Hanukkah celebrating Jews and nothing more.
Where as a lot of Americans behave like Bible thumping Christians and most Pakistanis behave like are Quran thumping Islamist.
Just like Americans who hold on to thier Bible, thier guns and their hatred towards the natives.
Similar to it Pakistan holds on to thier Quran, thier nukes and their hatred for the hindus.
Obviously, In the Rest of the world no one takes each of them seriously, on thier claim of the religion.
Saudis and Arabs mock the Pakistanis for thier claim on Islam.
And
The early Christian nations in Europe don't take America's claim on Christianity seriously.
Europeans don't take America' claim on being a guardian of "Western Civilizations" seriously or American claims of being "Irish" or "Italian" seriously as is it is with Americans claim on Christianity.
Both America and Pakistan have directly or indirectly funded terrorists and terrorists groups as well as both US and Pakistan have engaged in genocide of the natives.
And Guess what! Both America and Pakistan have topped the list of the biggest threat to Global peace.
Just look at the situation now.
Money is fungible until Americans pay Pakistan or Saudis or Qataris or Mujahideens.
So, Even though there are lot of great things about America and there is not much great about Pakistan, (on the power structure of the Deep state) US and Pakistan are a lot similar.
India and America are both democracies but these are like Charges that repel each other.
AND India should never be like Tony Blair for the United States. If India and America go their separate ways India would be fine and the US will also be just fine.
If anyone intelligent was running India's Foreign policy, he or she would push America into the arms of Pakistan, So that they (the Pakistanis) can do to America what they did to the UK. (If they don't leave India alone and get out of our country).
If we had to choose between America and Russia. We should choose Russia. If we have to choose between America and China, we should still choose China.
If India and America go their own separate ways India would be fine and America will be just fine.
I have said it before and I will say it again.
Any relationship with the USA will end up making you like Tony Blair who was the poodle of George Bush. Britain is like the Global Lieutenant of the United States.
Tony Blair keeps answering questions about the Iraq war while George Bush Jr. has been rehabilitated as Michelle Obama's dumb slow friend.
Barack Obama never ever gets asked any questions about the Libya and Syria war. Nicolas Sarkozy gets criticised for it.
India should not go to G7 meetings and should stick to BRICS. Get out of the UN, and should have never joined QUAD or SCO and never join NATO.
Any relationship with the USA turns out exactly the same way for "it's allies". They will involve you in a war and then expect full loyalty from you and ask you to deploy your troops as security guards for their financial interests. They will treat you like shit. Then they will chuck you under the bus when their goals change and start a new relationship with your enemies.
"America operates on a very short time line. America is definitely not the good guys". (John McPhee Delta Force) America expects you to take care of your interests and America never takes your interests into account.
Just ask yourself if there was no 9/11 but only Madrid attack or Paris attacks or terrorist attacks in Cologne or Sweden. Do you really think they'll start a "Global war on Terror" No, Never. They'll say you are not a melting pot of cultures and you are unable to assimilate cultures in your country and that's why "America is the greatest country in the world" and you are not (or some advertising jingle like that).
Neither is Donald Trump a fascist nor was a saved (or sent) by GOD (you cannot be saved Someone that doesn't Exist), these are hyperbolic claims made by partisan hacks on both sides so can gin up hysteria to rally up their base to get political power.
The fact is we judge democracies a lot harder, we live in a world where Democracies criticise each other for not being democratic enough and appreciate Authoritarian regimes for Capitalism, Lack of chaos and "Letting Women Drive".
Hyperbole and Streching the truth are extremely dangerous tactics used in modern politics by both sides. These People haven't learnt anything from it even after the Iraq war debacle.
Trump is just another politician who is making money on the side with his political gig. In the first Trump administration Jared Kushner made a lot of the "deals" and Right now Trump sons are making a lot of "deals" in the middle east. He's like any other politician who's going to do something right that you might like and something that you don't like.
A lot of people think this is new but When has America not blamed everyone else for their problems or any problems caused by them?
In the Second Trump administration America has blamed
1) China
2) Russia
3) India
4) South Africa
5) Brazil
6) Mexico
7) Britian and EU
8) Denmark
9) Venezuela
10) Germany
11) France
12) Israel
Americans blaming others for their own failures is a pretty standard feature. When the Americans tell you it's about America First, just ask them when was it ever America Last.
The rules of the game have been written by America for America First. When has America not blamed others for it's own problems? (Rarely)
The US has gone from wars in Europe to Asia then to the Middle East then back to Europe and the cycle repeats itself, all the while they have a side gig in South America. (Now they want to shift their attention to China)
America has interests in it's hegemony not in any kind of freedom or democracy or protecting the world against global terrorism as it is often said by think tank idiots from Columbia University and Georgetown University.
America has had the same policies since the end of the Cold War, there is very little difference between
1) George Bush sr and Bill Clinton
2) George Bush jr and Barack Obama
3) Donald Trump and Joe Biden
They are pretty much continuity presidents.
1) Obama said Ukraine is not of vital strategic importance to the United States and started a pivot to Asia as China is the main geopolitical threat to US
2) Donald Trump goes one step further and starts a trade war tariff war with China
3) Joe Biden keeps everything that Trump does in respect to China
4) Trump 2.0 expands everything in respect to China to BRICS.
The US has gone from wars in Europe to Asia then to middle east then back to wars in Europe and the cycle repeats itself, all the while having a side gig in South America. This is nothing new. "Trump is not going to start wars he's going to end wars" was always a hogwash.
