The idea that Navalny was this great political rival to Putin is just ludicrous. Navalny was polling at 2 percent, it's the equivalent of Joe Biden taking Cenk Ugyur seriously.

  29. Pakistan is a lot more similar to USA than the US would admit. Both Pakistan and USA are run by a deep state. The Pakistani Deep state is of Mullahs, Chaudhri Zamindars, Army and ISI. And America has Deep state that consists of military industrial complex and wall Street.(Micimatt) Both are deeply religious countries. America has a deep state just like Pakistan has a deep state, may be that's why the two get along so well. America can tell them what to do and they'll just do it. There is a 75 year data on Pakistan, Go look back at that history you will notice the same pattern again and again. If Pakistan is such a great democracy why does every Pakistan prime minister and Pakistani Elites end up New york, London or Dubai. Both Pakistan and USA are deeply religious countries. You would need the Evangelist vote to win an election in America atleast on the Republican side. You can say that about India and Israel, but both India and Israel are more culturally religious and more non denomination in nature. Most Hindus are just "Hindus who celebrate diwali" just like Indians and Chinese indigenous religious groups that are entwined with civilizational history of each country. Which is why India and China have a lot more in common with each other. And Most Jews are just Hanukkah celebrating Jews and nothing more. Where as a lot of Americans behave like Bible thumping Christians and most Pakistanis behave like are Quran thumping Islamist. Obviously, In the Rest of the world no one takes each of them seriously, on thier claim of the religion. Saudis and Arabs mock the Pakistanis for thier claim on Islam. And The early Christian nations in Europe don't take America's claim on Christianity seriously. Europeans don't even take American's claim on being "Irish" or "Italian" and thier claim on being guardian of "Western Civilizations" seriously but that's a different topic for another day. Money is fungible until Americans pay Pakistan or Saudis or Qatari or Mujahideens.

  31. If there is a war between authoritarianism and Democracies then why is America not Fighting a war with Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Oh Right! Saudi Arabia has Oil and Qatar has Natural Gas and do business with Chevron and Exxon Mobil. Qatar Lobby puts a lot of money in EU hence the scorn for Israel in Europe. You can also put Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the same category of Authoritarian countries who Playing the long game of Jihad. But the US has chosen to ignore the red lines because it cares more about Oil from Saudi Arabia and Natural Gas from Qatar. The United States has always found it very difficult to work with democracies which is why they arm twist democracies (UK France Germany) into submission and has always found it really cosy to sign sweetheart deals with Authoritarian regimes like (Saudi Arabia Qatar and Pakistan).

India and Russia have a Special Relationship that is not going to Change. The Modi Govt has made a lot of mistakes in respect to Russia. We should never have cancelled the Su 57 program and push inter continental missile program. But going forward our main partners in Foreign relations will be France, Israel and Japan. Britain might become a partner as situations worsen there. And As China becomes more agressive we might have a relationship with USA to counter balance them. But we will have to maintain a one arm distance from the USA and never allow India to be a vassal state of the united states.

I'm pretty sure no one even remembers that story. While Julian Assange is being slowly killed as well they Mike pompeo tried to kill him but the word got out.
