US and UK have a "special relationship" UK was never asked to cut ties with the United States even after the USA nuked Japan or after the Vietnam War why is India expected to do what British are not expected to do. India and Russia have a Special Relationship that is not going to Change. The Modi Govt has made a lot of mistakes in respect to Russia. We should never have cancelled the Su 57 program and push inter continental missile program. But going forward our main partners in Foreign relations will be France, Israel and Japan. Britain might become a partner as situations worsen there. And As China becomes more agressive we might have a relationship with USA to counter balance them. But we will have to maintain a one arm distance from the USA and never allow India to be a vassal state of the united states.
