Obviously, In the Rest of the world no one takes each of them seriously, on thier claim of the religion. Saudis and Arabs mock the Pakistanis for thier claim on Islam. And The early Christian nations in Europe don't take America's claim on Christianity seriously. Europeans don't take America' claim on being a guardian of "Western Civilizations" seriously or American claims of being "Irish" or "Italian" seriously as is it is with Americans claim on Christianity. Both America and Pakistan have directly or indirectly funded terrorists and terrorists groups as well as both US and Pakistan have engaged in genocide of the natives. And Guess what! Both America and Pakistan have topped the list of the biggest threat to Global peace. Just look at the situation now. Money is fungible until Americans pay Pakistan or Saudis or Qataris or Mujahideens. So, Even though there are lot of great things about America and there is not much great about Pakistan, (on the power structure of the Deep state) US and Pakistan are a lot similar.

They came close to them because they hate the Soviet Union (Russia) more. It's not because they "thought" China will become some kind of democracy because of capitalism in China. China was brought in the WTO as a way to lure them away from Russia. The same way they courted Putin too because they were beginning to be weary of Chinese ambitions at the same time. Converting China into a democracy is a silly story they tell the kids in "Georgetown and Columbia University" to Propagandise them (and call it education). America is in the business of hating others and loving itself. (No wonder Self Loving Donald Trump is the president of the United States) Making China a democracy, was neither the goal, nor was it ever going to happen and every one knew it. Neither did the Chinese ever had any willingness to become a democracy of any sorts. What America hates is, China has committed the blasphemy of developing so fast, becoming the second largest economy in the world and that it became a natural contender to America and a direct threat to it's superpower status, that's the only mistake of the Chinese. In World War 2, Europe was destroyed itself because of a direct clash between the European Empires and the rest of the world was living under the boots of colonialism while being robbed of their honour and wealth by their colonial masters and were subjugated completely, they also faced the effects of the war. America was the last man standing after world war 2 mainly because of it's geography. America ran from the third base to fourth base and called themselves a winner of the WORLD SERIES. Since Deng Xiaoping, China has run from first base and now they have nearly caught up with America. The name of the game is Capitalism, who knew China was going to be so good at it. There is a side of America that every one sees but we continue to ignore, this obsession with being number 1 (whatever that means). They used nukes on Japan which is racially, religiously and linguistically a different country to America. (As an act of Revenge-"not to end the war" as they have advertised) They would have never used nukes on Italy and Germany. (America is a Right wing, Nationalistic, Capitalistic, Christian, Conservative country, Predominantly ethnically White just like Italy and Germany) Not to mention, there is only one country that came into being by a Genocide of the natives and then dropped two nukes to become the super power in the world.
