He's against Far Right authoritarians but worked for Al Thani' Qatar which is a Muslim Brotherhood country and was against the IRAQ WAR because, I guess, Saddam Hussein was not an "Far Right Authoritarian". Fun Fact: Tim Walz was the first choice of Al Jazeera commentator and Qatar' Front man Mehdi Hassan even before VP pick was announced.
