  5. Americans love sugar and carbs so they’re probably all undiagnosed diabetics because who has time and money to go to the doctor especially for regular check ups and blood tests! So they’re just not thinking about thirst as a major symptom of diabetes. Six full glasses of water with a meal is not normal! I’m also mystified by “free refills”, because one 300ml glass of water is enough for me. In fact 1.5 litres per day is normal and includes tea, coffee, milk, water, soda and juice.
