  5.  @DCresident123  No, I’m in Australia and we have thousands of Italian restaurants, several of which I frequent, and if you want bread with your pasta, you ask for it. Herb bread is sometimes a side dish on the menu. When I was in Rome, I ordered pasta and gelato. Bread was not automatically brought to the table. You can definitely order it.
