  1. Directness is the best attitude, in the world today there are far too many people who are easily offended and that has become a “thing” for taking people to court!! Grow a backbone, toughen up and consider the old saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.” These days we have people being reported for not using the “preferred pronoun” and stuff like that! Aussies are pretty direct too and I think we’re better for it, you develop a “thick skin” and nothing bothers you. With direct people, you always know where you stand and you don’t need to worry about what they’re thinking. I have a deep respect for truth and honesty.
