Notice that bagels have 600mg sodium in each one! Daily allowance is 2000mg across all three meals and snacks. You should start tracking your sodium levels each day and you’ll learn a LOT about hidden sodium. It’s not just in salt, but in almost everything, some natural, but most of it added during processing. Also, avoid all foods with trans fats in them because trans fats never leave the body!

The best breakfast is rolled oats, just soak them in water for five minutes, add a bit of milk and some honey or raw sugar, or some sliced banana or berries, and you have a healthy breakfast, low sodium, low GI, low sugar. Raw sugar is low GI which is safer than refined white sugar. Squeeze some orange juice to drink.
