  1. I have never stepped on a power plug in my 72 years on this planet! Why would we ever unplug it when we have the off switch on the powerpoint? You can’t compare American intelligence with British intelligence nor Aussie intelligence! If you pull the plug out of the powerpoint, it gets put away with the appliance or coiled up underneath it, or left on the bench next to the appliance. However most of the time, we leave it in the powerpoint with the power button in the OFF position. Who leaves plugs on the floor? Weird!
