  4. Australia is slightly smaller than the US, but that map,of WA superimposed over Alaska looks exaggerated to me. If you put the rest of Australia next to it, it looks much bigger than the US.

  7. Only two spiders are huge in Australia and neither of them can kill you unless you’re particularly allergic to them. The Wolf spider and the Huntsman spider. The most venomous spider in Australia is the funnel web spider, but he’s not huge, just hairy and startling. Get familiar with the Huntsman, so you don’t harm them, and the Funnel Web Spider which is highly venomous. They can be aggressive so stay well away,

  8. You might be able to visit a farm in Australia, but not go fruit picking, that’s seasonal and paid for the season. However I can vouch for our produce because of the laws governing our foods and farming systems.
