@danielponiatowski7368 Grasshoppers and locusts are new to me in that old joke. I think some people altered it to make the roos even bigger, but when I first heard that joke in the seventies, it wasn’t insects but rodents - rats or mice, but rats can bound whereas mice tend to run. But yeah, basically the same joke. I just threw in the punchline for the sake of brevity.
