  1. McCafe was introduced to the franchise in Australia first. After they perfected it, it spread to other countries. The reason we say Maccas and the UK, Maccies, is because of the prefix - whether spelt Mc or Mac, it’s always considered Mac. We would never have gone Mickey because it’s not an “i” but an “a”.
