  1. I’m 73 and I had one of those plastic maps when I was in primary school, also had one of NSW but it was bigger than the state on the Australia piece.

  3. Up until about ten years ago, we had channels 2, 7, 9, 10 and SBS-TV. Once we switched over to Digital TV, each TV Network bought up a bunch of channels bit by bit, to bring us more free to air options. Now each TV channel has about five extra channels.

  4. We had the little pizza tables too, but they were to keep the box lid from collapsing onto the pizza toppings due to the steam making the cardboard soggy. Then they went to the tripod, I assume to reduce the amount of plastic. If they’re gone now, it would be because single use plastics are no longer used in Australia, or at least they’re being phased out.

  5. Those doormats were made from recycled tyres. Many Aussies still have them because they last forever! But I looked and couldn’t find them on sale anywhere, so if you had one, you possibly still have it.
