  1. My exterior door has no handle and no knob. You put the key into the lock, turn the key and push the door open. I also have a security mesh door on the outside of the door. The security door opens in the opposite direction and has a double lock plus bolts around the door frame. In the summer, we can leave the door open because the security door is impenetrable and bug proof.
