  1. There’s something you may or may not have noticed about Arnott’s ads. About a year or so ago, someone had the stupid idea of cutting the slogan in half. No doubt someone in America since we haven’t owned Arnott’s for many years. Tragic isn’t it! Their slogan had been well known for decades and was on every product. “There’s no substitute for quality.” Makes sense because they’re quality biscuits. However now they’ve cut it in half so it no longer makes sense because there are biscuits aLl over the world! Now it says, “There’s no substitute”, which implies the quality has dropped. Recent.y I learned that other bakeries are making Tim Tams overseas that are NOT the same as ours! So maybe they believe the quality has dropped and thus changed the slogan!
