  1. Halloween is an American thing. Some kids tried to do it some years ago, but no one wanted to get involved so it kinda stopped. We celebrate the real feast of All Souls Day by going to Church.

The extreme temps are rare, mostly in the red centre of Australia, but on rare occasions, we can experience one really hot day where it tips 40C, but then a southerly blows in and cools things right down.
