  1. The US is geared towards profit, so if there’s no money to be made from it, they won’t do it. In Australia, we keep trying to reduce the cost to the consumer and improve transport methods to achieve that. The cost of such constructions is covered by toll fees until the debt is recovered, then it’s free for roadways and transport fees are more feasible. Aussie attitudes also play a part, if something is too expensive, we won’t use it, so that can help to keep politicians on their toes. The great thing is that the future has no place for corporate greed, so while we will all need to adapt to those changes, our lifestyles will improve.
