  4. Those notes are plastic notes. The first plastic notes came into circulation around 1988 or 1989. The whole reason we went from paper to plastic is for longevity and durability. They also can’t be torn up. Definitely legal tender.

  5.  @Lupi33z  What I meant was it wasn’t a national sport with teams competing from other states, it was just the Victorians who made it huge. Even now, Sydney has only two teams.
